glx stats

Show summary statistics for a GLX archive

Synopsis

Display a summary dashboard of a GENEALOGIX archive.

Shows entity counts, assertion confidence distribution, and entity coverage metrics for quick feedback on archive health.

Coverage is shown two ways. "Direct assertion references" counts entities that are an assertion's subject. "Evidence coverage" measures assertion reachability: a person is covered when an assertion targets them, names them as a participant, or targets an event or relationship they take part in; a place is covered when an assertion targets it or names it as a value (an event's place, a residence), when a covered event happens there, or when it contains such a place. Every assertion counts, including unsourced or disproven assertions. Place ancestors count as gazetteer scaffolding. These percentages measure assertion reach, rather than the proportion of entities sourced or proven.

Accepts either a multi-file directory or a single .glx file. If no path is given, uses the current directory.
